 The name of the subjet that Ienjoyed to study is Angela Davis. She was a marxist political activist of the United States which was related with the Black Panter Party and is a member of the Communist Party of USA (CPUSA). For the class we had to expose one book among diferent authors and we choose "Prisions Obsolete?" from the 2003, wrote by Angela Davis. In this book she criticize the prision system advocating for the decarceration of the penal scheme. Besides, she also criticized their profound discrimination against prisioners based on their social class, sex, or ethnicity. Also, she advocated for a abolitionalist srategy to repeal repressive laws, which are applied in an arbitrary and discriminatory manner.  I think that currently my favorite piece of tecnology is our big lcd television. My maternal family bought it taking adventage of the sales of the Soccer World Cup of South Africa in 2010. It is the only big tv that we have, because the other televisions are more old, have a small screen and are big in the back part, besides not capture the signal so well. How is our only big TV we have a shared use, so we have to agreed when each member of the family use it. I use to play some movies and series on it, usually in the night, with the lights of the living room off. We use it a pair of times in the week, normaly in the weekend or when we have free times. I like it because is fun to see any serie or movie on it, like if we have our own personal cinema in our living room. Hi everyone and welcome to my first blog: I was born in Santiago de Chile, in 1995, and I have lived here all my life. Initially I lived with my two parents in the commune of Lo Prado, but they separated when I was four years old and I went together with my mom and my brother to my maternal grandparents' house in Quinta Normal. I have always lived in the same neighborhoods and I like to live in this part of the city. During my education I went through many colleges in the sector. In the elementary school I went through the Villa España, Principe de Gales and Madre Vicencia schools in the commune of Estación Central. While during high school I continued for a few years at the Liceo Madre Vicense, but I changed to the Liceo Manuel Barros Borgoño to finish the high school after the student mobilizations of 2011. In 2014 I began to study a Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Chile, but I did not like the degree and I entered Social Work in 2016 at the same university....
